So, on March 31st, 2009, Silverstein released A Shipwreck In The Sand. I wasn't like ZOMGGG NU ALBUMZ because as good as their previous album Arrivals & Departures was, it was semi-meh. However, I still pre-ordered this deluxe package thing, which was the deluxe version of the CD -- it included a "making of the album" DVD, a T-shirt, and a colour poster.
So I woke up sick this morning -- again. Augh, so needless to say I was bitchy and miserable. Then around midday my bro knocks on my bedroom door and says I've got a package. I knew EXACTLY what it was :D
After tearing the packaging open I popped the CD into my stereo and I could have cried with happiness, cause its just that amazing. I'm sooo happy :D
I highly recommend everyone go buy it, its like the perfect marriage of screamo and singing, AND Liam Cormier is one of the guest vocalists on the album. The other guest vocalists are Scott Wade and Lights. When I saw that Lights was on it too I was like: "Wtf?" but it really works well.
GO BUY IT!
